Honda has introduced a new level of equipment for its CR-V SUV called the Black Edition. This option is only available in Japan.
Available from June 19, the CR-V Black Edition has a very sober look. Available with 18-inch aluminum wheels painted black, headlights and rear optical units, as well as chrome exterior elements for the grille, as well as the Black Edition logo.
Inside, the Honda CR-V Black Edition features leather seats with the Black Edition logo. Door panels, handles and black roof lining give the car a much more elegant appearance inside. The CR-V with the Black Edition package can be configured with either a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine or a hybrid system including a 2.0-liter engine that has been renamed the E:HEV.
Other changes to the CR-V line-up include the introduction of sequential signals for the rear and heated steering wheel as a convenience, available as standard. In addition, Honda also added three new shades to the color palette, new fabric / leather upholstery, an updated steering wheel and heated rear seats.
Prices for the Honda CR-V Black Edition start at 3.774.100 yen (31,500 euros)for the 1.5-liter engine model in the front wheel configuration. The Honda CR-V with e: HEV Black Edition can be purchased for 4,338,400 yen (36,200 euros), while all-wheel drive is available for all variants, but at an additional cost.
