The Porsche Taycan Turbo S was filmed on the autobahn by the AutoTopNL team. The top version of the Taycan range has an electronically limited top speed of up to 260 km / h. But what speed does it actually reach?
On the autobahn, in the sector without a speed limit, the driver behind the wheel of the new Porsche Taycan Turbo S, accelerated. The speedometer shows increasingly high values and quickly passes 100 km/ h. It eventually stops at 267 km / h.
The test was set by AutoTopNL, which specializes in such experiments, and contradicted the figures put forward by the manufacturer. The Taycan is the first mass-produced electric car built by a German manufacturer based in Stuttgart. The Porsche Taycan Turbo S is the top of the range and is driven by two electric motors, one on each of the two decks, which provides all-wheel drive. The two engines jointly develop 625 horsepower (761 horsepower in overboost mode for a limited time) and a maximum torque of 1.050 Nm. The car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds and from 0 to 200 km / h in 9.8 seconds. Its maximum speed is 260 km/ h. These are the numbers that the Porsche Taycan Turbo S, along with the Tesla Model S P100D Peformance, is the fastest production car ever built.
The failures that occurred in early June in the center of Riga now occur everywhere.
